Okay, okay. Are you like sitting down? Seriously. This is one of the reasons the Valley is so coolio. Here it is:

13630 ADDISON ST, Sherman Oaks, CA 91423
MLS #: 08_314527

Yeh, I know! It's like supercrazyfantastic right? Yeh, it's whackadoodle. But I still kind of want it. Because ... it could be super cool. And check out the stats:

Beds: 4 '
Baths: 3/0
Sq. Ft.: 3,388
Lot Size: 13,500 Sq. Ft. (Yeh! Not a typo!)
Built: 1977 (You know Rachel Zoe totally wants it now too!)
List Date: 09/18/08
List Price: $799k
$/Sq.Ft.: $236

And look at the fireplace:

And the bizarro 'Children of the Corn' wall mural!

They didn't even bother to paint over that. They were like: "What? That is totally some sweet mural! Keep it up!"

Who needs a garage when you have such a groovy carport?

Okay, I admit it. I totally want this house now. This IS why I love the valley, indeed.

Horrible house... It shouldn't just have a major price reduction because of the current state of the economy, but even more so for that hideous design!

Monster price reduction ? Huh ? They are asking $800,000 for a $400,000 house! LMAO !

They did not agree on 701250... asking for 765k and saying that Owner wont agree on 90k reductions... And that's fine with me. The problem is that ... Who is an Owner? It's: Automated Finance Corp..... which in turn just a mail service for lenders. Even Countter Offer does not have an owner. But for sure previous owner got 1mil..... House is good, but condition is so bad: doors do not lock - they just open, leaks .... pool will have to go thru major work...
for 400k I would get it, meanwhile let see did they sell it or not....

The house sold for $650K on 3/20/09. More than I would have thought, but well below asking. The house obviously is a 1970's remodel of an earlier house, possibly one from the 60's. The late 70's were not a big time for carports in SoCal.
