Ha! You people in SoCal are behind the times. Up here in sunny Palo Alto a place just down the street went on the market for $1.4million. It is 1040 sq ft on a 4000 sq ft lot.
Just one door over from our 1950's Palo Alto rancher museum piece is a teardown rebuild on the market for a year at $2000 per sq ft.
Step away from that crackpipe! You bet!

I guess if you stay under a rock and don't watch or read the news you might be able to convience yourself that the market will come back. However I wonder how they rationalize away the fact this property does not get shown by local realtors who agree it $300k over priced for todays market! One also has to wonder what is wrong with the listing agent. Maybe the listing agent and owners are both smokin' crack!
